Al Denson
Founder & President
Al Denson is the heart behind Wyldewood Homes—and a familiar face around Sherman and Denison, Texas. Al Denson is a well-loved member of the community, known for his warmth, humility, and deep care for others. Al began his career in Christian music, and today, he brings that same passion and purpose to building affordable homes for families across North Texoma. You’ll still find him in the office every day, leading by example and pouring into the foundation of his business the same way he pours into his faith. Whether he’s walking into a local restaurant or meeting with homeowners, Al’s commitment to people always comes first.
Julie Elias
Vice President
Julie Elias has been with Wyldewood Homes since day one, for over a decade. With a background in music and the arts – and a love for horses that inspired much of Wyldewood’s core themes – Julie brings creativity and precision to her role as Vice President. Julie oversees operations, our office team and company finances as well as a strong desire to see that every home reflects the values of integrity, quality and a personal touch that makes a house feel like a home. Her creativity and commitment continue to shape the heart of Wyldewood Homes.
Veronica Mata
Warranty Coordinator & Sales Assistant
Veronica Mata is the friendly face you’ll often see before move-in day. As Wyldewood Homes’ Sales Assistant and Warranty Coordinator, she walks through each home to ensure everything is clean, complete, and move-in ready. Veronica manages the Pre-NHO (New Home Orientation) and NHO process, making sure every new homeowner feels confident, prepared, and cared for. Her eye for detail and heart for service help set the tone for the kind of personalized experience Wyldewood is known for.
Nolan Pike
Senior Construction Manager
Nolan Pike has been a vital part of the Wyldewood Homes team for nine years. As Senior Construction Manager, he brings deep knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and a passion for building homes that last. Nolan leads the construction process from the ground up, making sure every phase—from framing to final inspection—meets the highest standards for safety and quality. Whether he’s managing vendors or walking homeowners through their frame tour, Nolan is committed to transparency, education, and building homes that families can trust for years to come.
Dax Irvin
Construction Manager
Dax Irvin brings a hands-on approach and deep field experience to his role as Construction Manager at Wyldewood Homes. Having started as the company’s landscaper, Dax worked his way up and now oversees the full building process—from material ordering and vendor coordination to inspections and final walkthroughs. His mission is simple: build strong, beautiful homes that stand the test of time. Known for his calm leadership and attention to detail, Dax ensures every Wyldewood home meets the highest standards—on time, on budget, and built the right way from the ground up.
Christi Hernandez
Sales Director
As our awesome Sales Director, Christi Hernandez is probably the first person you will talk to upon reaching out to Wyldewood Homes. She will guide you through the process, whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned property owner – and everything in between. Her expert knowledge of our floorplans and selections will help you find the perfect home you are looking for. Christi is friendly, energetic and loves people – she will no doubt be as excited as you are to become one of our homeowners!
Alexis Deal
Financial Coordinator
Alexis Deal is the “woman behind the curtain” of Wyldewood Homes, making sure everything makes sense. We want to offer the best prices to homebuyers while also honoring our trade partners and our staff, and she balances this all so well. Alexis not only has a background in finance but in construction as well which makes her a valuable part of our team, as she truly understands the importance of quality and efficiency in work being done. It is so important to have someone with integrity and trust in this role, who can be firm but kind. While you may not ever see her, she is an integral part of Wyldewood Homes (and really nice and fun if you do get to meet her!)
